Six acres of flowering beds attract migrating butterflies and birds. Plus, over 13 species of ducks migrate to the center during the winter months. The center also has an educational and viewing center and offers bird and dragonfly walks, wildflower tours, and nighttime excursions!
The Museum of South Texas History also calls Edinburg home and is certainly worth a visit. It highlights the history and wonderful culture of the Rio Grande Valley over the past century. Of particular interest is their Premier Exhibition which includes the Rio Grande Legacy: River Frontier and River Highway.
