Why See A Board Certified Orthodontist?
A Board Certified Orthodontist has years more training than a regular dentist. Some dentists offer express teeth straightening but they are not specialists. Firstly just to be a dental orthodontist you have to not only graduate from a dental school as a regular dentist but you also then have to do an additional two or three years of speciality training. That is just to get basic certification as an orthodontist. Then to become Board Certified the orthodontist must do hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate their ability to provide the highest level of patient care. Dr. Taylor is an orthodontic specialist and has earned the highest level of achievement recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontists. This is an honor that only about 20% of practicing orthodontic specialists have achieved.
